GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Through a partnership between the Grand Rapids Griffins and The Rapid, Grand Rapids’ public transit system, a newly decorated Griffins-themed bus hit the streets of West Michigan for the first time on Wednesday.

The eye-catching bus, which will run on a variety of routes over the next 12 months, features larger-than-life photos of several current and former Griffins players, along with team logos and images of Griff and fans, superimposed over interior shots of Van Andel Arena.

Now that both the Griffins’ season and bus are rolling, the first 10 fans who take a photo of the new bus and post it to either the Griffins’ Facebook page or Twitter page will receive a free $20 gift card to TCBY, compliments of the Griffins.
