Mattias Ritola scored the game-winning goal with 49.5 seconds remaining to propel the Griffins to a 2-1 win against the Manchester Monarchs on Saturday night. Ritola and Darren Haydar both recorded two points in the Griffins’ first-ever trip to Manchester. |

The Griffins took sole possession of first place in the North Division and earned a point in their seventh consecutive game with a 3-1 win over the Peoria Rivermen on Tuesday night. Daniel Larsson stopped a season-high 40 shots for his fifth straight win. |
